Online Courses

When you become an In-Depth member you get access to four online courses from the Wisdom Experience Course Catalog a year, including powerful Lama Alan Wallace courses.

These course are restricted to students who have a solid foundation in the Dharma and a strong commitment to the Buddhist path. Lama Alan Wallace has chosen to limit access to these teachings on Dzogchen due to the possibility of students misunderstanding the subject without having the appropriate background. Students must have received a certificate of completion for the Wisdom Academy course Introduction to Dzogchen to take Restricted Dzogchen Teachings.

Restricted Retreats and Talks

Your In-Depth membership will also allow you to hone the insights you gain from courses by engaging in retreats with Lama Alan. Additionally, Lama Alan has a Restricted Talk Series to bring all these learnings together.

1. The Vajra Essence Retreats

This series of retreats presents a wondrous opportunity to deepen your practice of Dzogchen, guided by Lama Alan. Each of the four retreats includes readings, teaching notes, review session notes, and ~100 teaching videos from Lama Alan Wallace, Glen Svensson, and Eva Natanya. Each retreat initially took place our the course of eight weeks; however, they can now be completed at your own pace. Purchased individually, each of these retreats costs nearly as much as one year of In-Depth membership, saving you hundreds of dollars.

2. One-Day Retreats

3. Restricted Talk Series on The Enlightened View of Samantabhadra

In this series of talks, Lama Alan guides you through the visionary instructions of Düdjom Lingpa, one of Tibet’s most renowned Dzogchen masters. Lama Alan offers teachings on Düdjom Lingpa’s profound The Enlightened View of Samantabhadra, which guides us through the complete path to buddhahood according to the Great Perfection tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Please note: Due to the possibility of students misunderstanding the subject without having the appropriate background, Lama Alan has indicated that access to these Dzogchen teachings should be limited to students who have completed the Wisdom Academy course Introduction to Dzogchen.
