Please enjoy this unedited recording of our Wisdom Dharma Chat with special guest, Sangye Khandro. During this Wisdom Dharma Chat host Daniel Aitken and Sangye Khandro discuss Venerable Dhomang Gyatrul Rinpoche’s passing into parinirvana earlier this year, her root teacher, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, with whom she studied and practiced for many years, and her work as a translator.

 

Sangye Khandro has been a Buddhist since 1971 and a translator of the Dharma since 1976. She has helped to establish numerous centers in the US and has served as translator for many prominent masters in all four lineages. 

Sangye was the spiritual companion of the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche for nearly thirty years and has continued to help serve the centers established by her root teacher, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, with whom she studied and practiced for many years. 

In 1999 Sangye Khandro and Lama Chonam founded the Light of Berotsana Translation Group. For the past 20 years Sangye, with the assistance of Lama Chonam, have served as oral translators for Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche. As a result, they have translated and published several Dzogchen publications. She is also co-translater of The Lives And Liberation Of Princess Mandarava.
